On February 8th, PUD System Engineering Supervisor Molly Conley, Ocean Shores Service Lineman Andrew Wallin, Head Groundsman (and Ocean Shores School Board member) Steve Rockey), Safety/Environmental Director Ben Bouch, and Communications & Government Relations Director Ian Cope took the PUD story on the road to Oyehut and North Beach Junior/Senior High School to participate in the West Grays Harbor Career Day. Students from Hoquiam, North Beach, Taholah, and Wishkah High School’s had the opportunity to see PUD equipment up close, get tips on preparing for the job market, and speak to utility staff about the careers available at the Grays Harbor PUD.
